Bi monthly community lunches
Every other Monday 12-2pm
Eligibility & Referral
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, The Oxford Homeless Project is currently not operating at the Asian Cultural Centre but to spread the blessings of Ramadan, 100 Iftar hampers will be delivered to friends and families facing hardship in East Oxford.
If you would like to receive one or refer someone please send an email to FALFIERI@oxford.gov.uk and someone will get back to you with the date/time of delivery.
If you want to support this project, please bring food items (rice, flour, oil, dates, sugar, tomato tins, chickpeas tins and sweet treats) to the East Oxford Community Centre, Princes Street, Oxford, OX4 1DD.
Staff will be available for donations at the following times:
Tuesday 6th April 9:00 – 16:30
Thursday 8th April 9:00 – 16:30
Friday 9th April 9:00 – 13:00
If you want to donate but the above times aren’t appropriate, please contact FALFIERI@oxford.gov.uk to arrange a different time.

The Oxford Homeless Project was set up by Shabnam Sabir BEM and Tayyaba Hameed and is voluntary run Muslim community project with the aim of serving the homeless in Oxford.

Key functions & activities offered
Get togethers take place every other Monday and provide:
- A large selection of home baked food including lots of cakes and desserts
- Useful items such as sleeping bags and tents
- Company and companionship
